The taxis in Guilin are mostly in red or yellow color, with signboards on the top. A small LED board is settled behind the taxi's windscreen, showing the taxi is available or not. When the taxi is available, the LED light will be turned on.

Usually the taxi drivers can't speak English, so if you decide to take a taxi in Guilin, please ask your guide or the receptionist in the hotel to write down the destination name in Chinese.
