Famous dishes include steamed mandarin fish from the Lijiang River (Qingzheng Lijiang Yu), braised water chestnuts with bamboo rat, red-cooked pangolin, Guilin-style fried taro roots, braised pork with litchi and taro, and roast suckling pig.
