Li River Cruise
Li River is the shimmering link between Guili and Yangshuo, with a stretch of 83 kilometers (52 miles). This river originates in the Mao'er Mountains in Xing'an County, and flows through Guilin city by the name of Li River. Cruise down the River from Guilin city to Yangshuo is the highlight of any trip in China.
At the Zhujiang Pier by boat, a 4-hour cruise will lead you to the scenic Yangshuo. This green ribbon-like river runs zigzag through a multitude of hills against a backdrop of steep peaks; luxuriant flowers and green hills along the shores are mirrored in the blue water. In drizzly days, the peaks along the river embraced by clouds and mists are just a natural Chinese landscape painting.
Moreover, Li River is also a good place to glimpse the local's idyllic life as they go about their daily routines. Farmers work in their fields; fishers in small boats go fishing; And, cows wonder around on both sides of the river bank.
