4-day Guilin Highlights plus Yangshuo Countryside Biking

Day 1Guilin Arrival (Lunch)

Your tour guide and driver will be waiting for you at Guilin airport or railway station; after your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Guilin city. After freshen up, drive to visit the city highlights – Reed Flute Cave, West Hill and Elephant Trunk Hill. Reed Flute Caveis a brilliant cave marked on almost all travel itineraries. Elephant Trunk Hill is the symbol of Guilin and West Hill is one of the most famous hills in Guilin, but it is always non-touristy and not like the other crowded scenic spots in the town. Lunch is in a good local restaurant where you will have a good chance to try Guilin cuisine. Return to your hotel in late afternoon.

Day 2Li River cruise down to Yangshuo (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast and hotel check-out, meet your tour guide at the hotel lobby in the morning. Then drive to Zhujiang/Mopanshan Pier for a 4-hour' cruise on the famous Li River, with lunch aboard. Get off at Yangshuo - famous for its spectacular and picturesque countryside. After check in your Yangshuo hotel,bike riding through small villages along the Li River, with your tour guide, for idyllic rural scenes typical of Chinese Villages; if you prefer, a family visit to a local farmer’s house can be arranged. Return to your hotel; and enjoy your free time at West Street in the town of Yangshuo.

Day 3Yangshuo(Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, cycle along Yulong River (a major tributary of Li River) in Yangshuo countryside, accompanied by your tour guide. This is also a very good chance for you to get close to Chinese farmers’ daily life. Along the whole biking path in the countryside, you’ll see different crops, some villages and water buffaloes with amazing scenery surrounded.

Back to your hotel in the afternoon and relax. In the evening, enjoy the fantastic light show of Impression Sanjie Liu – directed by the famous movie director Zhang Yimo who is the same director for the Opening Ceremony of 2008 Olympics. Stay overnight in Yangshuo.

Day 4Guilin Departure (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to Guilin airport or railway station for your departure flight/train to the next destination. Service ends.
